In the cup, No Drama Llama delivers exactly what the name suggests: a composed, balanced coffee with medium body and acidity, complemented by a subtle green freshness that keeps things lively without overpowering the experience. It’s a thoughtful, steady expression of high-altitude Peruvian coffee—carefully grown, intentionally processed, and easy to enjoy.
Situated around 1,800 meters above sea level, Chirinos coffees benefit from high elevations and cool mountain conditions that contribute to clarity, balance, and nuanced acidity in the cup. Most members farm small plots of 4–5 hectares, growing Bourbon, Caturra, and Typica varieties under careful, supervised management. Organic certification is a point of pride here—no pesticides are used—and members receive ongoing agronomic training and access to nutrient-rich organic compost produced by the cooperative.
