Sugar Rush is a thoughtfully curated blend developed by our partners at Cafe Narava in Costa Rica’s West Valley. This lot brings together cherries from neighboring farms and longtime friends, selected specifically to create a balanced, approachable, and expressive cup.
After harvest, the coffee is processed at the Badilla Herrera mill using a short white honey process. While the team has the expertise to push fermentations deeper into red or black honey territory, this year’s decision to keep the fermentation lighter was intentional—allowing clarity, sweetness, and structure to shine.
The result is a coffee that leans dessert-forward without becoming heavy: bright citrus aromatics layered over chocolate-driven flavors, a chewy mouthfeel, and a pastry-like sweetness that carries through the finish. A versatile and dependable profile that works beautifully across roast styles.
