THE DETAILS

Haitian Blue coffee is grown from the same varietal as the rare Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee.  It is an heirloom arabica consisting of typica, bourbon, caturra, and catimore varities.   Haitian Blue™ AA is grown in the shade of much taller trees, usually fruit trees. This farming provides for the highest level of conservation of resources, allowing the local population to maintain the benefits of the fruit trees, while protecting the land from deforestation.
